The Princes Centre is not only an inspiring environment for the elderly it also supports young people with disabilities or special needs. The Centre provides a safe place for young people to again support, learn and maintain life skills and pursue their interests. There are a host of engaging activities which can be accessed by all including;

- Music, films
However at the heart of the centre is the provision of a safe place for older people, people with learning and or physical disabilities, sensory impairments or mental health issues to gain support, learn or maintain life skills and socialise. We have introduced scheduled activities within the centre, from armchair exercise classes to making jewellery and greetings cards Alongside activities at the centre, the emphasis is on being part of a local community and as such some activities will be held away from the centre at locations appropriate to the activity ie, a book group at the library, wine appreciation at the pub and ice cream tasting at the ice cream farm!
A Specific skill enhancement course can also be planned such as independent living skills course and travel training. Active support is also available for people who require personal care or other assistance, please call and ask for further details.
